Since starting Products Group International (PGI) more than 30 years ago, Grant Gillig is a recognized leader in ultrasound and diagnostic systems. From day one, he has worked closely with leading experts worldwide in veterinary science and equipment manufacturing to develop, advance and refine diagnostic technology.
In the early 1980s, Grant spearheaded the development of ultrasound for veterinary use. He worked with prominent U.S. veterinary schools to introduce the first-ever portable ultrasound machine. Over the next 10 Years, he refined and expanded diagnostic capabilities of vet ultrasound, working very closely with companies and universities worldwide.
After the introduction of large animal reproductive ultrasound scanning, Grant expanded the technology with more sophisticated techniques, such as tendon scanning, fetal sexing, embryo transfer, fertilization and color flow mapping for both large and small animals.
PGI expanded with new and used equipment, accessories and a replacement parts division, rounding out its capabilities to fully service both veterinary and used medical equipment fields. Servicing these communities is at the heart of PGI.
Leading the development of new technology and the refinement of existing procedures is Grant’s passion.
